Candle Burn Instruction for Candle Care
Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to edges of the container to prevent “tunneling”
- Trim the wick: Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn to ensure an even burn. A wick that’s too long won’t draw wax all the way to the top.
- Keep away from drafts: Avoid placing candles near open windows, air conditioning vents, or air circulators. Drafts can cause uneven burning and soot.
- Don’t leave unattended: Never leave a burning candle unattended, especially before going to sleep.
- Use a proper holder: Burn candles in a proper holder on a level, fire-resistant surface.
- Put out with a lid, snuffer, or wick dipper: Don’t extinguish candles with water, as this can splash hot wax and burn you or your surroundings.
- Store in a cool, dark, and dry place: When not in use, store candles in a cool, dark, and dry place.
Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.
